This mornings trip with Ron ,Don and "Big Bug" Bob ,landed 6 Stripers to 31".High hook went to Bug as he put on a clinic to school his brother Don.It was a fun morning! |

The 2008 season has begun with our friends of Ceviche Tours from Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Ceviches own John Vater was treated to a nice day on the water. Fishing started off slow , but as the tide went slack,we boated 7 Striped Bass ,of which there were 3 keepers. A 29",31" and a 39" 23lb. Bass were caught. "Way to start the season John". |

Pursuitofbass team did an early Christmas trip aboard Capt. Dave of Sheepshead Bay,Brooklyn. Capt.Dave and crew did a nice job of putting us on some quality Blackfish. The boat had over 40 fish between 10 guys, and Capt.Skip missed the pool by 1lb. They were all quality fish to 9lbs. Thanks again to Capt.Dave and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS. |

Last day of the season has come to a close. Cold ,but beautiful day on the water after AM. snow. The boat caught 4 Blackfish and enjoyed 2 hours on the water. Happy Holidays to all! Capt. Skip |

The Blackfish bite is still alive and well. Capt. Skip is reporting that 17 keepers and many throw-backs were caught on todays trip. Steve Kirkpatrick was high hook with an 8 lb. brute, his personal best! Way to go Steve! |

Instructional trip with Pete Bartley was a fun morning. Fish were caught all morning, but as the tide started to slow, the bite really increased. During the fury, 16 keepers to 6 lbs. and many throw-backs were caught. Happy Thanksgiving! |

Today was a perfect Nov. day, rainy, chilly , but the Blackfish were biting. Capt. Skip , Mike and Schniedly had 23 keepers to 6 lbs.and as many throw-backs. the bite was pretty steady ,with a few spurts of non-stop action. |

Final day of Jim Reinickers private charter was nothing less than awesome fun! Right out of the harbor we killed the Striped Bass on light-tackle top water action, with over 2 dozen in 1 hour. We than proceeded to the Blackfish grounds. The bite was awesome with over 40 fish. We limited out with fish to 7 lbs. Great fishing Rino! |

Special guest Jim "Rino" Reinicker was treated to an afternoon of Blackfishing and Bass fishing.Bass, and blues were the fish of the day as the crew searched for larger Blackfish. the largest Blackfish weighed in at 6 1/2 lbs. |

Todays trip started slow ,but when the tide changed so did the fishing. 1st time Blackfisherman Jim Reinicker was quite a quick learner and boated several nice fish along with Capt. Skip and others. 20 keepers to 5 1/2lbs. and numerous returns made for great action all afternoon! "Check out the fish Nancy","wish you were here". |
